Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Python Software Developer with robust systems, software, cloud, and Agile expertise to support a critical program involving Agile development and operations for complex systems. This role will engage directly with customers to identify their needs, gather requirements, and create effective solutions. Working within a DevOps environment, you will oversee project deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, including estimation, architecture, design, coding, and testing.
Key Responsibilities - Interact with customers to identify pain points and gather requirements independently.
- Develop, prototype, and deploy innovative solutions using Commercial Cloud Solutions and programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular.
- Formulate and present solutions to customers, making adjustments based on their feedback.
- Collaborate with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment with User Stories and customer use cases.
- Analyze infrastructure needs derived from software development to meet customer mission objectives through end-to-end testing.
- Document software development processes and manage deployments across various environments using GitFlow. Support Agile software development following SAFe practices with industry-standard DevOps tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
- Share essential project information with team members to enhance teamwork, utilizing Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence for tracking activities.
Basic Qualifications - Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, and Angular with experience in gathering customer requirements.
- Experience in independent development on Commercial Cloud Platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, utilizing cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
- Proven history of demonstrating developed solutions and incorporating customer feedback into updates.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, service-oriented architectures, and the software development lifecycle with familiarity in DevOps toolsets.
- Experience with software testing tools like Junit, version control systems, and issue tracking systems.
- Advanced degree (Master's) with a minimum of 15 years' relevant experience or a Doctoral degree with 13 years' relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with SAFe development practices is a plus.

Pay Range: $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
