Software Engineer / Architect

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to lead a small team to architect, develop, and deploy a proprietary MRP/ERP application. This position will initially focus on inventory management, an essential area for WET's production, care, and engineering. We are planning to expand projects to cover all of WET's software infrastructure, we need help in multiple areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS/Azure, MySQL-PostgreSQL, PowerBI or Snowflake
- Communication, collaboration, and teamwork define who we are, and we look for like-minded professionals
- Integrating third-party services, tools, and APIs into applications
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration
- Running unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure the stability and functionality of applications
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to security, scalability, and best practices in development
- Participating in agile development processes and contributing to continuous improvement of the development workflow
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science
- Experience designing and developing proprietary MRP/ERP applications
- Building a secure data warehouse to integrate data across departments, starting with inventory.
- Ensuring secure access and overseeing the full-stack development of the system.
- Creating a user interface for team members to interact with and request data, with a focus on tracking part locations.
- Proficiency with React, Node, AWS/Azure, MySQL-PostgreSQL, and PowerBI or Snowflake
Preferred Skills
- This role is critical for laying the foundation of our broader WET Infrastructure management efforts
- Researching and tinkering with the latest AI tools and software
- Concept of continuous integration and automated deployment systems
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and SCRUM
- Great creative and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
