Senior Software Developer

Senior Software Developer for NorthWind Technical Services LLC to report to our Sabetha, KS HQ. May telecommute after 2 yrs of service with the company. Dev, document, maintain + supp web + desktop apps. Dev automated tests for apps. Maintain app version control w/ Git. Communicate w/ supervisor, team + customers. Produce quality software (s/w) w/ min supervision. Work directly w/ stakeholders to design solutions. Communicate req s/w changes to team. Provide ideas + improve dep't processes + procedures. May undergo drug screening. Little domestic travel within the United States to visit customer sites involved. International travel to client sites possible. Maximum length of trips not to exceed 5-10 days. Must have Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or rel field and 2 yrs rel software development exp. Also requires skills (2 years exp) in: VB.NET, and developing and optimizing SQL queries. Alternatively, must have 5 yrs rel software development exp and the following skills (5 yrs exp) in: VB.NET, and developing and optimizing SQL queries.
