Overview Responsible for technical leadership and systems integration of innovative inline inspection software ecosystem.
Subject matter expert to guide architecture and integration of software in the technical development, verification, validation and field support of systems and services through change and/or development process and product lifecycle.
Collaborates and coordinates with systems engineers, product management, operations and sales, to support commercialization, sales and to ensure best technical direction for implementation of ILI systems.
Key Responsibilities Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for overall technical aspects of software system architecture within development projects at TDW.
- Uses expertise with broad perspective to identify innovative solutions to complex problems and mitigate technical risk while ensuring best practices are shared.
- Oversees research projects for system improvements and integration opportunities. Facilitate implementation of data science algorithms in scalable production systems and arbitrate any conflicts that arise.
- Supports the introduction of the new product or service to the operations group.
- Understands the competitor technical capabilities and can assess competitive advantages and disadvantages.
- Ensures that technical solutions meet customer needs.
- Supports and participates in the organization's continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements, by complying with the Safety and Quality policy and procedures and meeting the safety and quality objectives established by TDW.
Experience - Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of software systems engineering, software systems integration or technical leadership with ability to effectively lead and communicate with multiple engineering disciplines.
- Working knowledge / experience (5+ years) with C, C , C , Python a plus
- Working knowledge of different engineering specialties to direct work on a systems level, including electrical (hardware and firmware), mechanical and software engineering.
- Experience with pipeline inline inspection technologies and data analysis experience a plus.
- Oil and gas industry experience preferred. Experience with matrix organization preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Proven ability to direct diverse technical talent to product solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
