JOB DESCRIPTION:

Unique Vacations, Inc. an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts is seeking a highly decisive, organized, data-driven, and creative professional to support the execution of our global social media strategy. Reporting to the Global Director of Social Media, this role will manage day-to-day operations, oversee agency partners, and ensure a high-performing, strategic presence across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other social media channels.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of executing top-performing social content and campaigns that evolve with platform trends. You have deep expertise in various content formats: text, photos, video, animations, along with tactics like influencer collaborations, partnerships, community engagement, and crisis management. You can balance creativity with data-driven insights to maximize impact.

This role also involves managing and mentoring a global social media team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment. You will work closely with other social media managers, agencies, and cross-functional teams to align messaging, performance, and execution.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Content Ownership: Conceptualize and execute best-in-class social content, using a range of formats and tactics, that's driven by customer obsession, audience insights, social trends, and the public environment.

• Content Strategy: Ensure our social content supports business goals in a creative, socially native way while being relevant and on brand. Direct and manage a team dedicated to creating content calendars, including agency partners, to ensure content is strategic, engaging, and aligned with the company's objectives. Develop a channel-specific approach, balancing platform nuances, audience behaviors, and content formats to maximize impact across social ecosystems.

• Working horizontally: Provide advice to executives, Marketing, PR, and international social teams on social media best practices and strategies, demonstrating a high degree of comfort communicating with leaders.

• Measurement and Evaluation: Oversee the strategic direction of paid and organic social efforts, ensuring optimization of campaigns for maximum ROI. Work closely with internal team members and agency partners to analyze performance metrics, interpret data, and guide optimizations that drive engagement, conversions, and business growth. Develop reporting frameworks to measure success and communicate insights to key stakeholders.

• Team Leadership & Performance: Manage, mentor, and inspire a global social media team, ensuring high performance, professional development, and alignment with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-energy work environment, providing clear direction, setting measurable goals, and holding the team accountable for results.

• Influencer & Campaign Production: Oversee the strategic direction and execution of high-impact influencer collaborations and campaign productions, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, external partners, and creators. Provide leadership and guidance to the dedicated team member and agency managing day-to-day operations, ensuring content quality, brand alignment, and timely delivery. Maintain oversight of performance benchmarks, optimizing processes to drive efficiency and maximize impact.

• Social Tactics: Use influencers, partnerships, collaborations, and other tactics to advance business goals and drive content performance. Support broader company campaigns and brand activations by integrating social strategies that amplify reach and engagement while ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Manage resources effectively to fit within budget constraints, optimizing efforts for maximum impact.

• Global Agency & Stakeholder Management: Lead strategic collaboration with global and large-scale agency partners, ensuring they are effectively briefed-whether directly or through team members-on objectives, priorities, and brand vision. Own the conversation with agencies, driving optimizations and ensuring alignment with the company's overarching social strategy. Act as the bridge between agency execution and internal leadership, translating high-level direction from the Global Director of Social Media into actionable plans that deliver tangible results. Operate with agility, intelligence, and efficiency, ensuring all partners work at the necessary pace to meet business objectives.

• Cross-Team Social Media Alignment: Work closely with other social media managers to ensure all areas of social, including content, community management, paid strategy, and influencer collaborations, are aligned on messaging, vision, and effectiveness. Foster seamless collaboration to maintain consistency across platforms, optimize engagement strategies, and ensure a unified brand presence. Act as a strategic connector between teams, ensuring insights, best practices, and key learnings are shared to drive overall social media success.

• Budget Management & Tracking: Manage and track social media budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across content creation, paid amplification, influencer collaborations, and agency partnerships. Monitor spending, assess ROI, and provide recommendations for optimization to maximize impact while staying within budget.

• Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to the Caribbean is required, with additional travel within North America and the UK, though less frequently.

Qualifications include:

• Strong understanding of platform best practices, trends, and developments across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Experience managing global agency partners and collaborating with internal teams to execute high-impact social strategies.

• Proven ability to analyze social media performance data, optimize campaigns, and guide reporting and insights.

• Experience overseeing content calendars and ensuring strategic, engaging, and brand-aligned content.

• Strong budget management skills, including tracking and optimizing spend across paid social, influencer campaigns, and content production.

• Ability to advise senior executives and cross-functional teams on social media strategies and emerging trends.

• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in both corporate and agency settings, managing social strategies at scale.

• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Experience managing or collaborating with international teams to ensure global brand consistency.

• Proven ability to oversee influencer campaigns and content production, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals.

• Strong experience in budget planning, allocation, and optimization across paid social, influencer collaborations, and agency partnerships.

• Expertise in leveraging data and post-campaign analysis to optimize content, paid social, and overall performance.

• Experience mentoring and guiding social media teams in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to travel internationally with periodic travel estimated at 30%.
