A well-established, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This role plays a critical part in leading and supporting design, permitting, and client development efforts across a wide range of land development projects. You'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with experienced leadership on high-profile and diverse development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial, warehouse distribution, and mixed-use development projects for both public and private sector clients
  • Collaborate with office leadership on growth planning and staff utilization
  • Actively engage in business development by building relationships with new and existing clients
  • Manage site/civil components from concept through completion including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control
  • Lead stormwater management design, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation
  • Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering into land development design
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant, local experience in site/civil engineering with a focus on land development
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required
  • U.S. citizenship (due to federal project requirements)
  • Experience across various site types with comprehensive design oversight
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred
  • Active involvement in professional engineering organizations
  • Strong technical and proposal writing capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and meetings
