Senior Servicenow PPM

Senior Project Manager (Lead ServiceNow PPM) Onsite in Hanover, MD Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex, high-visibility projects using ServiceNow PPM and MS Project, ensuring alignment with agency goals and successful execution with minimal oversight. Coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources across multiple stakeholders and teams. Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and performance metrics using ServiceNow PPM and MS Project. Facilitate strategic planning sessions to align project deliverables with organizational objectives. Oversee risk and issue management processes, including the creation and tracking of POAMs, risk registers, change requests, and status reports. Provide direction and mentorship to junior project team members. Act as a liaison between internal teams and government stakeholders, translating strategic requirements into actionable project roadmaps. Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of quality, compliance, and timeliness. Support continuous improvement initiatives and project management process enhancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field. Active Secret Clearance ( U.S. Citizenship required ). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. 5+ years of experience in project/program management, including operational support and strategic planning. Proven expertise with ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module and/or Microsoft Project Portfolio Management. Deep understanding of ServiceNow PPM components including: Demand, Project, Resource, and Time Card Management Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions Flow Designer and Workflow Editor GlideScript/JavaScript development Performance Analytics and dashboard configuration Integration experience (e.g., Jira, SAP, MS Project, REST/SOAP APIs) Familiarity with CMDB and its relationship to PPM Experience working within DoD, particularly in DCSA adjudication and vetting processes for personnel security clearances. Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and strategic planning.
