LA Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-HaveTechnical Comptency - Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Sr.Developer and Implementing HR Module, CSM, SPM ( TTPM),ITOM,ITEM, BPM , Service Portal.Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent
- Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
- Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
- Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively
- Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability
- Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
- Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Behavioral competency - Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written)
- Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratevily
- Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives)
Good-to-Have - ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification
- ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification
- Java developer certification
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role - Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories)
- Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development
- Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
- Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
- Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required
- Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
- Provide any required training to the users on the user stories
