Title: Senior Security Engineer

Summary: The Security Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures for information systems to control access, protect data, and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity, tool management, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure a secure digital environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Work autonomously with minimal guidance, troubleshooting a wide range of information technology issues.
- Build custom security rules and configurations to meet business compliance and security requirements.
- Identify security risks and vulnerabilities, developing and executing mitigation strategies to address them.
- Design, implement, and evaluate security-focused tools and services, including leading security projects.
- Lead the implementation and management of Security Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions and zero-trust security models to enhance data protection efforts.
- Administer daily operations within a Secure Email Gateway (SEG) environment and collaborate effectively with cyber operations teams.
- Support and manage the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, ensuring robust policy management across multiple technologies.
- Participate in security compliance initiatives and assist in creating and delivering security training materials for both general awareness and specific security technologies.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend emerging security products and technologies to stay ahead of industry threats.
- Lead the deployment and ongoing management of security tools and services to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in information technology, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Proven track record in implementing security solutions, conducting vulnerability assessments, and performing security audits at both infrastructure and application levels.
- Solid experience in managing email gateway solutions, including SMTP and Microsoft Exchange.
- In-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, network security, authentication protocols, and overall system security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex security challenges effectively.
