As a Senior Security Architect, you will lead security innovation and play a vital role in shaping and advocating for our security posture. Collaborating with a team of architects, you'll develop secure design patterns, conduct thorough security assessments, and evaluate system designs using a risk-based and threat-modeling approach.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business and technology teams to define security designs that align with security requirements and business goals.
- Create, maintain, and document security architectures and design patterns for technology teams.
- Build relationships and establish processes to support security champions within the organization.
- Conduct threat-modeling to underpin recommendations and design choices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and reference materials.
- Review infrastructure-as-code changes and designs to ensure security compliance.
What You Bring: - 8-10 years of experience in information security and/or IT risk management.
- Proven expertise in designing and building secure cloud-native solutions, particularly in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, especially identity and access management, network access control, and secure configuration management.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and experience in reviewing related configurations (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Technical experience in modern application/microservice architectures and related technologies (e.g., Containers, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, RESTful/gRPC APIs).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CCSP, Certified Secure Software Engineer, SANS/GIAC Certificates, or CISSP.

- Proven ability to work with various stakeholders to derive accurate threat models and mitigate security risks.
- Understanding of CI/CD and secure development processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
- Experience in the Financial Services or FinTech industry.

Base Salary Range: $123,000.00 - $178,350.00. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
