Key Responsibilities
SEC Reporting & External Filings
- Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Lead the preparation of the consolidated Statement of Cash Flows and related disclosures
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
- Contribute to earnings release materials and investor presentations
- Stay current on evolving SEC and FASB guidance to ensure timely adoption of new standards.
- Oversee and review XBRL tagging for SEC filings.
Technical Accounting & Research
- Perform technical research on complex and emerging accounting topics; assist with drafting accounting memos and policy updates.
- Monitor industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and disclosures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred), or a mix of public and corporate experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry preferred
