Radiant Global Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Senior SEC Accountant to join the team. The Senior SEC Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all SEC filings and technical accounting matters. This position involves close collaboration with the Global Controller, CFO, and General Counsel to support high-level financial reporting and compliance efforts for the company.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior SEC Accountant, you will be responsible for:

SEC Filings and Reporting
  • Prepare and submit SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership (Global Controller, CFO, and General Counsel) to ensure the completeness and compliance of all filings.
  • Review and validate XBRL tagging to ensure accuracy in SEC filings.
  • Maintain quarterly and annual roll-forward schedules and reconcile them to SEC filings.
  • Perform detailed tie-outs of Forms 10-Q and 10-K to support documentation.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing presentations for the board and investors.
Compliance and Technical Accounting
  • Continuously monitor and assess compliance with U.S. GAAP, recommending improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
  • Research and analyze the impact of new accounting standards and pronouncements on financial reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with SEC and PCAOB regulatory changes and ensure timely adoption of new reporting standards.
Audit and Internal Controls
  • Provide critical support during quarterly reviews, annual audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance activities.
  • Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for auditors and regulators.
  • Assist in maintaining robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Monthly Close and Special Projects
  • Contribute to the monthly financial close cycle, including preparing reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Lead or assist in special accounting projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
Communication and Training
  • Serve as a resource for technical accounting guidance to team members and colleagues.
  • Effectively communicate with external auditors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

CPA certification with public accounting experience preferred.

3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in SEC reporting or financial reporting.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs) and Microsoft Word.

Experience with SAP, Active Disclosure, or similar accounting/reporting systems.

Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Work Schedule

Full time schedule of minimum 8 hours per day with flexibility to complete all required job duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.

Climate-controlled office environment.

Physical Demands:

Regular physical demands: Walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

Language Skills:

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
