Job Description
Insight Globals client is looking for a strong SDET to join their team and eventually move into a lead role with 5 QA testers beneath them. They will be reporting to the director directly who needs someone independent that she can rely on to get work done. They are looking for a solution seeker, someone with strong communication skills who has the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams. Working with supply chain, common services, coupon, etc. They use Nightwatch currently and are doing a TOSCA pilot as well.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet business needs.
Effectively managing vendor relationships by proactively resolving problems and ensuring timely delivery of QA services.
Effectively leading, and training 5 direct reports, provided onboarding support, and conducted performancemanagement reviews.
Keeping management informed of project schedules, status, issues & metrics.
Effectively allocating resources to meet operating objectives.
Interacting and collaborated with stakeholders on product considerations to align with product vision, features, and roadmap.
Leveraging customer insights, feedback, and risk data to define product features (technical or nonfunctional) and roadmap in partnership with other SMEs.
Working cross functionally with other product areas & other partners to prioritize feature and stories.
Fostering a strong working relationship between engineering, product strategy and design to align around a common understanding of product goals.
Collaborating with the team for successful release planning, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product team and ensured it is aligned with senior leadership.
Provide T-Shirt size estimates for quarterly projects during PI planning meetings
Involved in backlog management, iteration planning, elaboration of user stories
Assist continuous professional plan of QA team members
Enhance QA Methodology for test and defect management tools supporting process
Conduct demos and inspect to certify product readiness for quality gates
Support UAT sessions and providing all the exit criteria from testing cycle.
Manage day-to-day activities with teams conducting functional, regression and System integration testing.
Handled multiple projects for each sprint.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of SDET experience
-Good communication
-Someone who can seek people out proactively
-They are in the process of automating all their manual testing so they need automation experience. They have automated about 40%
-Solid background in automation frameworks, being able to maintain and design these frameworks.
-Strong background in both programming and software testing
-Performing test automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms (Web, Mobile, Desktop, etc.).
-Creating and managing bug reports and communicating with the team.
-Building different test scenarios and acceptance tests and just has great testing mindset.
-Work closely with developers and product managers to understand project requirements, business objectives, technical specifications, and user scenarios
-Retail commerce background or knowledge is highly desired
