Job Title: Senior SAP Functional Analyst - Finance - 25-04624 Job Duration: 12 Months of Contract role Job Location: Redford, MI 48239 (Onsite role) Michigan Client: Client Truck Financial Services Pay Rate: $48.00/hr. on w2 Skills Matrix: 5+ years of SAP production support in FI/CO and MM 5+ years of SAP training in FI/CO and MM 2+ years of ABAP exp (analysis not programming) Exp with monitoring IDOC erros, Autosys, and Batches Exp creating reports through SAP Business Warehouse (BW) ICS experience preferred Exp supporting users with month end close activities Required: - Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields is required: Finance, Accounting, or MIS with SAP concentration
- SAP certifications a plus
- 8+ years of experience
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of process improvement projects, with regular reporting on implementation progress and outcomes
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to system configuration and business operations
- Effective communication skills to liaise between technical (IT) and non-technical (BU) teams, ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements, successful implementation, and ongoing maintenance of processes within the system
- Strong communication with end users to ensure that they understand the resolution of incidents and the correct execution of processes
- Experienced with Project Management Tooling Jira, Confluence, Office365
- Business English, German beneficial but optional)
- Experience in international, implementation projects
- For each specific module or process, should have the relevant qualifications and expertise and provide support.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for providing first level support to the user community including trouble shooting and the resolution of production issues for SAP.
- Responsibilities also include leading various projects and providing end user training. SAP modules supported will be FI/CO with some MM interaction.
- Troubleshooting may include ABAP - Program analysis but not development and daily system monitoring such as inbound idoc, autosys, and batch monitoring.
- Creating and maintaining reports through SAP and Business Warehouse instances.
- Position may require ICS compliance activities as applicable.
- Ongoing user support - address user issues and trouble-shoot production problems, provide training and transaction assistance as required. Ability to work with shared services support to escalate system issues and communicate the status to impacted parties.
- Data monitoring - review system for posting errors (IDOC errors), and system and transaction failures
- Month-end close activities - address user issues, open & close accounting periods as needed, and ensure for the timely running of allocations.
- User training - provide guidance to individual users and conduct formal training sessions as required
