As a Senior Salesforce Technical Architect at Horizontal Digital, you will manage, develop, and implement technology solutions for clients. The Technical Architect is a critical role for the team and will lead the development of our Salesforce projects.

We're looking for a digital technology expert who is comfortable leading as a player/coach. In this role you will manage developer resources and work side-by-side with project teams as an active participant defining requirements, shaping technical solutions, and taking a hands-on approach to implementation and quality assurance. You will work across multiple projects with a diverse team consisting of a mix of front and backend developers, digital strategists, project managers, and the UX/creative team. Your goal is to manage a team to produce great work, expand our technical capabilities, and help clients meet digital objectives.

What you'll do:
  • Work with functional and business clients to determine solutions that drive additional business value
  • Deploy and maintain integrations as part of long-term client relationships
  • Work with Salesforce products including core: Sales and Service Cloud
  • Make technology decisions related to the Salesforce environment
  • Work creatively and analytically with clients to understand business needs and create technical solutions in a problem-solving environment
  • Develop solutions for fit and scalability, while ensuring that they confirm to long-term strategic priorities
  • Evolve and shape the strategy, architecture, platform and standards for the integration team
  • Specify and publish standards around API's
  • Be involved in pre-sales activities
Who you are:
  • Experience designing and implementing a project's technical architecture
  • Have the ability to work closely with clients to define and derive the solutions
  • Ability to guide the Development team
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Deployment/Physical architecture
  • Experience working with different file standards
  • Experienced with Object Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture
What you bring:
  • Experience defining the structure of the system, it's interfaces and the principles that guide the client
  • Strong skills in system documentation (ERD's, process flows, etc)
  • 8+ years of client-facing consulting/professional services experience
  • 8+ years of experience design, refinement and implementing Salesforce solutions with an emphasis on Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
  • Experience with Call centers stand up
  • Preferred experience with any of the following: Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud; Experience Cloud; Marketing Cloud variations: Engagement/Advanced/Growth Edition(s)
  • Certification on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (application design, architecture, and development using )
  • Preferred Certification Financial Services Cloud; Experience Cloud, Data Cloud (application design, architecture, and development using )
  • Experience working within cross-functional project team to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Prior experience working in areas of integration technology and driving new points of view and capabilities
  • Experience with coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting complex integrations
  • Prior experience in management methodologies (waterfall, agile) enterprise planning, estimation, and project management (single and multi-site)

The pay range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $200,000 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position across all US locations as of the date of this posting. Within the range, actual offered compensation is dependent upon the individual's work location and additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training, internal equity among the team, and applicable employment laws. Please note the compensation details in the US role posting reflects base salary only and doesn't include discretionary performance bonus or other incentives (if applicable).
