About the Role
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and continued optimization of our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform to ensure effective and optimized customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud features, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate cross departmentally to drive system enhancements and improvements. Your expertise will drive the success of our Sales Transformation initiative and contribute to our continuous improvement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
- Strong experience and knowledge in Salesforce Sales Cloud processes and capabilities.
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Aura & Lightning Components, Web Services and API), integrations with back-office systems (often using middleware tools) and complex data migrations.
- Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Flows, Workflows, Formulas, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
- Provide expertise and recommendation on when to use configuration vs. code vs off-the- shelf products.
- Provide application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects, and providing root cause analysis for defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance-related issues.
- Participate in peer code reviews and unit testing.
- Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
- Participate in development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment.
- With project leadership, assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development.
- Communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams including business teams, product teams, global IT Apps teams, consultants & vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field.
- 4 + years of experience with Salesforce Declarative development using Process Builder, Flows, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
- 4 + years of experience with Salesforce platform programming languages - Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and platform
- Strong experience in front end technologies like HTML, CSS & JavaScript Frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, Knockout JS etc.
- Thorough understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, Changeset and Ant
- Good understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem solving/decision making skills.
- Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I Certifications
