Position: Senior Salesforce Developer + Solution Architect

Location: Remote (Must reside in NY/NJ/CT)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation: $135,000 annual salary

VillageCare of New York is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer + Solution Architect with over 4 years of experience in Salesforce administration, implementation and support. This position will work with other Salesforce administrators, developers, software engineers' data engineers/analyst, product managers, and project managers to plan, design, code, and test functionally. This role works on every level of the technology stack, from the user interface and services to business logic and data access. The Salesforce Developer/Solution Architect will deliver sophisticated product features to our internal stakeholders by building new digital product solutions, as well as supporting and refactoring existing logic in Salesforce Service Cloud that align with the overall strategic direction of VillageCare.

(Experience in Salesforce HealthCloud is a plus)

VillageCare is a community-based, not-for-profit organization serving people with chronic care needs, as well as seniors and individuals in need of continuing care and managed care services. Our mission is to promote healing, better health and well-being to the fullest extent possible. Our care is offered through a number of Medicaid and Medicare managed care plans, and through our Assisted Living Program. VillageCare has delivered quality health care and social services to individuals residing within New York City for over 45 years. Our service area now includes all five boroughs of NYC, as well as Westchester, Nassau, and Putnam counties.

Job Duties:
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Solution and/or Technical Architect, with expertise in Apex, LWCs, Aura, Visualforce, and SOQL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governance, and security.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configurations such as object relationships, page layouts, lightning record pages, lightning app builder etc.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g. REST/SOAP APIs) and third-party applications.
  • Experience with DevOps, including branching, conflict resolution, and release pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience working with Product Management and Agile methodologies.
  • Prior Salesforce Administrator experience, focusing on user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs for Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the Salesforce data model for various implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Qualification:
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Solution Architect, Platform Developer I&II or other applicable certifications.
  • Experience:
    -Salesforce product knowledge with 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Service Cloud, Community Portal and Tableau
    -Demonstrated proficiency in all parts of Salesforce's configuration space, including native and custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, alerts, process builder actions, third-party technology integrations, user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings
    -3-5 years of experience working within the Healthcare field.
    -Knowledge of Information Technology best practices and frameworks such as ITIL, SDLC, and PMO.
    -Experience with Informatica ETL
    -Excellent oral and written communication skills.
