About the Sales Solutions Architecture Team: Our Sales Solution Architects collaborate closely with Solutions Specialists (Sales Representatives) throughout the sales lifecycle. By taking a consultative approach, we assist customers in identifying and overcoming their cloud challenges. Our mission is to design well-architected, reliable, and secure solutions tailored to our Managed Cloud Portfolio.
Your Responsibilities: - Provide Pre-Sales technical support to our Go-To-Market (GTM) Team, driving revenue and cloud adoption.
- Conduct comprehensive technical discovery and assessment workshops to understand customer pain points and gather business and technical requirements, including Well-Architected Reviews, Migration Readiness Assessments, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses.
- Architect solutions that align perfectly with client requirements following a well-architected framework methodology.
- Communicate proposed architectures effectively during the pre-sales cycle for internal validation and support.
- Serve as a technology evangelist, educating prospects and clients on the best cloud solutions for their needs.
- Interface with Product Marketing to provide feedback for enhancing product quality and capabilities based on field experiences.
- Collaborate on technical documentation (e.g., SOWs and HLDs) and train sales staff to foster their development.
- Produce cost and labor estimates and Statements of Work for potential projects.
- Provide thought leadership at industry events, write blog posts, white papers, and participate in case studies.
Technical Qualifications: - Relevant industry-leading certification required: AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect - Expert).
- Deep understanding of public cloud platforms, notably Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Understanding of IAAS / PAAS / SAAS platforms (e.g., EC2, VMs, etc.).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, Terraform).
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and data protection principles.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NoSQL).
- Expertise in networking, compute, storage, and operating system fundamentals.
General Qualifications: - A BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of experience or an MS Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree.
- Experience working within a sales team context.
- Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfort communicating across internal organizations.
- Ability to speak at public events is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential.

Compensation: $151,400.00 - $227,200.00 plus a potential annual incentive/commission of $52,800.00.
Benefits: Eligible employees can take unlimited paid vacation, plus seven paid holidays and up to 160 hours of paid wellness leave. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, military leave, parental leave, and volunteer opportunities.
