We're entering a significant growth phase and are seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead and unify our go-to-market efforts. This is a strategic leadership role for someone with a proven track record scaling GTM functions in a SaaS EdTech environment.


Role Overview

This role owns our go-to-market engine. You will lead strategy and execution across sales, revenue, and demand generation, while collaborating closely with Marketing and Client Success to drive retention and expansion. You will also co-own Yellowdig's brand presence, thought leadership, and awareness strategy in the education sector alongside the Marketing team.


Key Objectives

  • Drive strong year-over-year ARR growth in a metrics-driven, results-oriented environment
  • Set and achieve aggressive lead generation and brand awareness goals through full-funnel campaign execution
  • Position Yellowdig as a category leader in learner engagement and student success
  • Strengthen collaboration and handoffs across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success
  • Build a scalable, repeatable sales strategy that addresses both individual buyers and enterprise procurement models
  • Travel up to 30-40% based on business needs

Your Background

We're looking for a high-performing leader with:

  • 5-8+ years in B2B SaaS sales/revenue roles, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership capacity
  • Proven success scaling revenue at a growth-stage
  • Deep understanding of the higher education landscape, including faculty-admin dynamics and institutional procurement processes
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue through inbound and outbound strategies
  • Proficiency with GTM operations (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
  • A data-informed, strategic mindset with strong execution chops

Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Sales Leadership

  • Set and meet ambitious sales and revenue goals
  • Develop scalable sales playbooks, KPIs, and forecasting processes
  • Partner with Client Success to drive account expansion
  • Build and deliver a training program to onboard and level-up the sales team
  • Manage territory coverage and resource alignment with Customer Success
  • Continuously evaluate and refine compensation plans to support performance
  • Actively participate to accelerate enterprise sales and business development activities, evaluate channel partnerships, oversee quarterly customer reviews, and rerpesent Yellowdig at industry events
  • Maintain strong relationships across our customer base senior stakeholders

Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with Marketing to define Yellowdig's brand and demand gen strategy
  • Collaborate on content, social, digital, and influencer campaigns
  • Track and optimize pipeline performance and ROI across all channels

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing sales team
  • Foster alignment across GTM, Product, and Client Success

Compensation & Career Path

  • OTC : $180K - $220K + Performance-Based Equity Options
  • Direct exposure to the CEO; part of the senior leadership team
