Business Development Manager - Atlanta Market

Our client is expanding into the multifamily, hospitality, hospitals, commercial buildings, assisted living, and/or management company market, including apartment complexes and HOAs. Traditionally, they operate in restoration, construction, and facility maintenance and are seeking experienced candidates to drive sales in this new vertical.

Market: Atlanta

Sales Target: $2.5 million MIN in current annual sales, quarterly targets at $625,000 MIN

Focus: Multifamily market (new vertical for the company)

Preferred Experience: Selling to multifamily housing.

General Qualifications:
  • Absolute MINIMUM of 3 years in commercial outside sales experience.
  • Preferred experience in one of the company's industries (restoration, construction, facility maintenance).
  • Ability to articulate success in previous roles, meet targets, and build networks.
Compensation:
  • Base Salary: $65,000 - $95,000
  • UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS
  • Commission Structure: 3% of revenue for total gross margin, with an additional 0.5% increase for higher margins. Additional commissions to be detailed by hiring team.
  • OTE Earnings: $165,000+
  • Benefits: 70% of premiums for healthcare covered by employer

  • Meet goals and quotas.
  • Must have the ability to interact, collaborate and execute at all the highest levels of the company.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts with the ability to create, draft, prepare, revise, review, and negotiate complex contract terms.
  • Ability and evidence of showing composure, a positive attitude, and strong judgment, even in adverse situations in a team environment.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals to find new business opportunities.
  • Expand the company's reach to new areas and customers, promoting our services.
  • Ensure great customer service through regular communication with operations, finance teams, and clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet annual sales goals.
  • Update the management team on new business activities and progress.
  • Form profitable relationships with decision-makers at companies.
  • Research and analyze economic factors affecting specific markets or areas.
  • Travel as needed. Driver's license in good standing is required.
