Primary Purpose

The Senior Sales Associate contributes to achieving store goals in sales, productivity, and service by utilizing Coach selling skills and service training. You will be responsible for meeting personal sales and productivity goals, and delivering service that meets or exceeds expectations. You will represent Coach to customers, act as an ambassador of the brand, and ensure customer needs are consistently exceeded.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following proficiencies:

  • Understand how individual productivity impacts the store;
  • Behave as a brand ambassador;
  • Model sales behaviors taught in company training programs;
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor;
  • Consistently achieve sales goals;
  • Work effectively with multiple customers simultaneously;
  • Anticipate and meet customer needs;
  • Service all customers according to the Coach Approach standards;
  • Participate as a team member and encourage team to meet and exceed performance standards;
  • Champion company initiatives and support management decisions;
  • Demonstrate professional ethics.
Further Requirements
  • Previous management experience in a luxury retail environment is preferable;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred;
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and marketplace competition;
  • Familiarity with cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet);
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) with customers and team members; ability to maneuver the sales floor and meet moderate stockroom lifting and store climbing requirements;
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
