The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Sales and Marketing Domain Architect to join the team in Renton, WA.

The selected candidate will be working at the very front of Boeing's business in the domain of Sales and Marketing (S&M). Our responsibility is to provide innovative solutions that equip and enable our sales campaigns across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Global Services (BGS), and Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) with evidence of the value and performance of our products. Our division spans every point on the spectrum from marketing to capturing new business, to sales operations, and customer engagement. We are seeking people who have a passion to innovate and be impactful to the success of selling Boeing's products.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data and information management systems and components
  • Leads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements
  • Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle
  • Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models
  • Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives
  • Performs trade-off analyses
  • Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments
  • Drafts data and information management products and service standards
  • Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle
  • Develops architecture and data/information management standards and strategies
  • Coaches and mentors others
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience with domains, characteristics, constraints and products that require software and influence architecture, requirements, interfaces, designs, and integration/test approaches
  • 5+ years of experience in software development in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues
  • 5+ years of experience leading and working in a cross functional and complex global environment, building relationships among a team through open dialogue, trust, accountability and empowerment and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Program Management, or similar field
  • Experience within quality assurance, risk management, and dependency management
  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience with GenAI
  • Experience working in the sales and marketing domain

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
