Senior Safety Manager
As a Senior HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's health, safety, and environmental efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in safety. You will lead a dedicated team of HSE professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
You will report directly to our HSE Director and you will work out of our Geismar, LA location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, PSM, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Develop and implement safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.
• Manage the HSE budget, including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
• Promote environmental sustainability and minimize the environmental impact of operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.

YOU MUST HAVE
• 10+ years of experience in HSE management
• Leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
