The Senior Retail Operations Manager is responsible for developing a system and best practices for project management throughout the life cycle, including planning, scheduling, and evaluating projects to determine timelines and budgets. This position will build and manage project teams, ensure quality control throughout the project and effectively communicate with project stakeholders. This position also supports the Retail Stores to ensure that all operational procedures are followed, identifies and implements solutions/enhancements allowing Retail Stores to maximize sales, service, and profit.

• Responsible for Retail project development from initiation to roll out and collaborate to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

• Work with project stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing

• Responsible for the complete project work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task, provide project timeline and communicate expectations to team members and departments

• Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan. If required, Responsible for recruiting and managing appropriate staffing resources, ensure any changes are documented with the completed change forms.

• Responsible for maintaining vendor/contractor relationships for operational services needed within all regions for Retail locations and making sure vendor meets our needs.

• Responsible for monitoring the compliance for Department of Health Requirements for all locations

• Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to stakeholders

• Complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved and to recommend future opportunities to streamline process

• Ensure all project documents are archived following project completion

• Responsible for Managing and directs the Retail Operations Manager and their direct reports to ensure duties and goals are being met in a timely manner.

• Conducts regular performance evaluations of direct reports and provides feedback for areas of opportunity.

• Works closely and communicates with Retail Store Management, Accounting, Operations and other support departments towards the understanding, and timeliness of all Retail related procedures

• Responsible for ensuring entire SOP manual is consistently updated and communicated by Retail Operations Manager.

• Works with store managers both in person and remotely to ensure all SOPs are consistently followed and understood

• Participates in vendor/contractor and company meetings to represent Retail Stores

• Provides Retail Store Management support through scheduled & impromptu store visits and proposes updates/changes needed to keep a dynamic workplace.

• Responsible for ensuring all POS operations and training are being maintained and assists in troubleshooting with the support of the Retail Operations Manager and the IT Department.

• Liaisons along with the Retail Operations Manager for center management/landlords to coordinate onsite store needs during projects

• Oversees with the support of the Retail Operations Manager the coordination, upkeep and proper maintenance/functioning of all in store equipment and ongoing maintenance needs

• Provides Vice President of Retail with a weekly status update of all ongoing projects

• Oversees special projects as directed by the Vice President of Retail and Ownership

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• College degree in business or a related field or equivalent work experience in the service industry

• 3-year work experience in project management

• 3-year work experience in related Operational Management Responsibilities

• 3-5 Years of Retail Store Management experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work flex days/hours including weekends

• Travel using personal vehicle required, current drivers license
