The KASTELLUM Group is seeking a highly qualified Senior Resource Advisor to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado supporting the U.S. Space Force. Duties as a Senior Resource Advisor:
• Receive requirements/initiate tasking by current budget documents review and communication with squadron leadership
• Initiate/plan approaches to TMT/ESSS and DTS by identifying and evaluating key stakeholders - conduct stakeholder analysis through meetings and consultations with 37th TIS leadership, Delta 3 resource advisors, and squadron staff.
• Plan Financial Support Plan (FSP) by verifying scope, objectives, deliverables, improvements/corroborate with gov tech lead.
• Initiate/plan MORD/MIPR/DAR-Q/ODL/ledger activities by reviewing/synthesizing and validating detailed support requirements using interviews, surveys, and workshops to collect information from squadron and Delta 3 stakeholders.
• Plan budget planning calendar by establishing due dates and forecasting requirements allowing for deliberations.
• Initiate/plan MICT coordination by identifying and validating stakeholders (program leads), reviewing programs, synthesizing and determining actions to develop POAM and adjust as necessary.
• Compile FY budget requests; track real-time expenditures/budget allocations with Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) ensuring alignment to leadership priorities/objectives.
• Utilize DEAMS to generate daily financial reports.
• Coord with Base Comptroller/FLDCOM FM to facilitate Miscellaneous Obligation Reimbursement Document (MORD)/Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) reviews.
• Extract financial data, reconcile, prepare corrective action plans, track financial tasks.
• Process, analyze/review financial reports; incorporate findings & recommendations into staff meetings/reports as requested.
• Record unfunded data calls for projections/end of year closeout/early reprogramming to ensure complete budget execution.
• Reconcile Government Purchase Card (GPC) monthly by verifying Defense Travel System (DTS) requests/vouchers and routing.
• Utilize staff experience/system expertise to coordinate/disseminate Task Management Tool (TMT) tasks.
• Communicate with MICT program leads, compile & present status briefs.
• Develop/update budget docs/financial reports.
• Compile FY budget requests, submit to command leadership. Skills:

• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate and work with others.
• Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, accurate, complete and comprehensive reports, papers and projections.
• Status updates and information briefs are provided regularly to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and open communication.
• Use argument evaluation and validated data to challenge differing perspectives. Clearance:
• TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly may be required. Desired Experience:
• At least 8 years of experience working budget execution and financial management.
• At least 3 years of experience working on HQ Staff (4- or 3-star level)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Education:
