ARS is looking for a highly skilled analytical professional responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data from various USAF operating systems to identify trends, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights. This expert-level position focuses on ensuring data accuracy, developing mathematical models, and communicating findings through effective data visualization. The senior analyst will provide technical leadership, oversee junior personnel, and apply advanced knowledge of data science methodologies to support program requirements and objectives. Responsibilities include: Collect and analyze data from various USAF operating systems to identify positive and negative trends
Create detailed reports using advanced data visualization techniques including graphs, charts, and interactive dashboards
Examine and validate the accuracy of USAF maintenance data systems including G081, Program Depot Maintenance Scheduling System (PDMSS), and Logistics Evaluation Assurance Program (LEAP)
Collaborate with USAF organizations to improve data input accuracy and ensure desired outcomes
Develop mathematical models and computer programs to evaluate and predict aircraft parameter performance
Utilize advanced analytical tools including JMP, MATLAB, Simio, Python, and VBA for data analysis and modeling
Apply quantitative techniques to develop, adapt, and modify models that resolve complex problems
Lead study teams and originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies
Execute projects and studies within established financial and time constraints
Design and build advanced visualizations using Tableau and other visualization platforms
Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Mentor junior analysts in data science methodologies and analytical best practices
Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to support decision-making processes
Develop and implement data quality processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements: Must be a US citizen
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related scientific discipline
Active Secret security clearance (required)
Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques
Expert-level proficiency in at least two of the following: JMP, MATLAB, Simio, Python, or VBA
Advanced experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
Demonstrated expertise in working with military maintenance data systems, particularly G081, PDMSS, and LEAP
Proven ability to develop mathematical models for complex systems
Experience leading analytical studies and research projects
Strong understanding of data quality methodologies and data governance principles
Advanced knowledge of Air Force maintenance and logistics operations
Comprehensive understanding of quantitative research methods and experimental design
Demonstrated leadership in complex data analysis projects and mentoring junior analysts
