Our Solution Engineering organization leads these efforts by working closely with customers to deploy and adopt Snowflake's AI Data Cloud.
As the Sr. RVP of Solution Engineering, you will lead a team of technical architects, driving strategic customer engagements and developing prescriptive architectures to promote adoption of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will collaborate with Sales, GTM, Solution Engineering, Engineering, and Marketing teams to help customers transform their businesses with our platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESField Engineering Leadership
- Drive strategic customer and partner engagements alongside Sales, Solution Engineering, and GTM teams.
- Develop repeatable reference architectures and frameworks for accelerated, well-architected deployments.
- Provide thought leadership in the AI Data Cloud space at internal and external forums.
- Serve as an escalation point for customers, sales teams, and product leadership.
- Represent the voice of the field in product gaps and roadmap discussions with product and engineering teams.
- Ensure operational excellence through KPIs, compensation plans, etc.
- Coordinate with EMEA and APJ counterparts on best practices and approaches.
People Management
- Build and lead a team of world-class technical architects specializing in product introduction, evaluation, and education.
- Develop career plans, coaching, and activities to foster high performance.
- Act as a hands-on leader working with your team on building reference architectures and engaging in complex customer projects with CDOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects.
ON DAY ONE WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- 20+ years of experience in Data & AI engineering or technical solutioning, including 8+ years in leadership roles managing high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Gen AI, Cloud Computing, and SaaS solutions.
- Experience building engineering infrastructure and processes to develop reference architectures, frameworks, and solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations to technical and executive audiences through various formats.

The expected compensation range for this role is:
- Base salary: $255,000 - $388,500
- Eligible for bonus and equity plans
