Job Details

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Commercial Real Estate experience is required.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Significant experience in real estate accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and hands-on experience with accrual-based, monthly-close processes.
• Experience with real estate software like Yardi or MRI.
• Proficiency in real estate accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with lease accounting standards and regulations, particularly ASC 842.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Familiarity with tax compliance in the real estate industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with capital expenditure analysis and financial strategy in real estate.
