We are looking for a Quality Professional to join one of our premiere clients based in Elkton, MD. In this role, you will interact with suppliers, manufacturing, sales, and engineering team members. You will provide ongoing support for customer concerns, contract manufacturers, suppliers, manufacturing, and quality system improvements by working both independently and within multi-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support customer complaint investigations, nonconforming material investigations and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support quality issue resolution through application of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem-solving tools such as 5 Why, 8D, Cause and Effect / Ishikawa diagrams etc., and implementing effective countermeasures to prevent the issue from re-occurring.
  • Support and/or lead internal and external audits.
  • Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers on the resolution of nonconformances.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, including compliance with applicable quality standards such as ISO9001:2015.
  • Championing quality improvement projects.
  • Providing quality management system training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct hands-on experience in a quality, process, product, or manufacturing engineering role
  • Demonstrated understanding of the ISO9001 quality standards
  • Demonstrated success working across functions, such as market-facing teams, supply chains, technical or manufacturing teams.
  • Demonstrated use of problem-solving tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated prioritization, planning and organizational skills with a proven track record of consistently finishing projects, producing results, and driving sustainment
  • Demonstrated ability to support and embrace change
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability in leading quality, product or process changes.
