Position Summary
A leading manufacturer committed to world-class safety and quality is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control. This role is responsible for protecting both customer satisfaction and company reputation through the development, leadership, and continuous improvement of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Manager will lead a dedicated quality team and serve as a key partner to plant leadership, including the General Manager and Shift Plant Managers.

- Lead the development and implementation of quality control processes in line with customer expectations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including manufacturing, engineering, sales, warranty, and suppliers-to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Conduct training and lead initiatives in Quality Circles and A3 problem-solving methodologies.
- Develop and maintain product and process specifications.
- Set quality requirements for raw materials and monitor supplier compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor inspectors, technicians, and quality staff.
- Oversee product development and testing to identify deviations and ensure consistency with quality standards.
- Make final product approval decisions and address any nonconformities.
- Compile reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and apply statistical methods for process control and improvement.
- Solicit and evaluate customer feedback to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for more efficient quality processes.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager, ideally in a manufacturing setting involving hard surface materials or extrusion.
- Detail-oriented and highly conscientious with a strong results-driven mindset.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to convey technical information visually, verbally, and in writing.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with a collaborative approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, such as ISO 9000 or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Quality certifications (e.g., QMS, ISO) strongly preferred.
