This is a hybrid role that requires some on-site work (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana office). In addition to the on-site duties, there are additional responsibilities that can be completed outside of the office, resulting in this being a hybrid role.

Empower Members to Achieve Financial Success. This position will work as part of the Risk Management - Audit & Compliance team. The Audit & Compliance team is responsible for conducting and coordinating audit and compliance tasks. The team provides assurances to the Supervisory Committee.
You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members: - Lead the quality control function over our third-party reviews for loans sold to Government Sponsored Enterprise ("GSE") and loans with servicing retained.
- Perform the pre- and post-closing quality control reviews assessing the accuracy, integrity, and risk per each GSE requirement for Loan Administration.
- Prepare and submit to management reports for the third-party quality control reviews conducted on GSE's and loans with servicing retained.
- Conduct compliance monitoring and analysis related to Fair Lending regulations.
- Perform ongoing monitoring, compilation, and validation of HMDA data for accuracy to complete quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
- Analyze and interpret consumer real estate related compliance laws, rules, and regulations (i.e., TRID, HMDA, UDAAP and Fair Lending) to address compliance questions, issues and requirements.
- Provide appropriate recommendations for action to be taken in addressing consumer real estate lending related questions, issues, and requirements.
- Perform risk assessments on regulatory compliance changes affecting Elements lending activities, products, and services.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry regulations and GSE requirements.
You will make a difference as you live out our purpose: - Assist management with new product implementation as it relates to consumer real estate lending consumer regulatory compliance.
- Analyze new products, product enhancements, and projects; make recommendations to management to ensure compliance with consumer real estate lending related compliance laws, rules and regulations.
- Provide guidance to business owners in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with consumer real estate related compliance laws, rules, and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
You will help grow the business: - Maintain a proficient knowledge of applicable consumer compliance laws, regulations, and interpretations with emphasis on real estate related areas (i.e., TRID, HMDA, UDAAP and Fair Lending).
- Support management in the development and enhancement of policies, processes, and employee guidance to ensure adequate compliance controls and training.
- Assist with NCUA, external audit, and internal audit material requests for examinations and audits.

Minimum Requirements: - 7 or more years of experience in the financial services industry (5 or more of those years in mortgage lending and quality control reviews).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of consumer compliance regulations with emphasis on real estate lending.
- Experience in researching and interpreting consumer compliance regulations with emphasis on real estate lending.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills to review policies, procedures, and transactions of varying complexity to identify regulatory impact.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and time-sensitive deliverables.
