Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Customer Quality Our Arens Control site in Arlington Heights, IL is looking for a Senior Customer Quality Assurance Engineer to support their automotive product lines. As the Customer Quality Engineer, you will own all quality activities related to supporting our customers. This includes providing day to day support for manufacturing, design and development of new products and failure analysis related to customer complaints. In addition, you will review monthly customer metrics and customer specific requirement to ensure compliance with all expectations. You will also provide recommendations on quality standards and procedures when necessary.

Your Challenge: - Demonstrate knowledge of AIAG quality core tools, with an emphasis on PPAP and APQP
- Experience developing and implementing control plans in a quality certified manufacturing environment (ISO or IATF)
- Review and track all internal and customer quality concerns, including cross functional team leadership to implement corrective actions
- Strong written communications skills. Ideal candidate should be able to provide concise summaries of technically complex issues for both leadership and technical experts.
- Participates in audits. Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
- May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/activities; results-driven
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
What You Have: - High School Diploma required. Engineering degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of applicable experience within Quality Engineering with exposure to electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience within an IATF certified environment preferred. VDA experience a plus.
