What You Will Do As a Senior/Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will serve as the cornerstone of our QA team, driving quality efforts across the organization. You will lead testing initiatives, develop advanced automation solutions, and ensure the delivery of reliable backend systems and applications. This role requires a mix of hands-on expertise in backend testing, leadership skills to guide and mentor the QA team, and strategic thinking to improve QA processes.
Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee end-to-end quality assurance efforts for backend systems, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, combining manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and pipelines using tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Postman.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and DevOps, to identify quality objectives and resolve complex defects.
- Mentor members in the QA organization by providing guidance, technical support, and professional development opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for QA activities, ensuring effective communication of quality metrics, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, including AI development tools, and implement innovative testing solutions for GCP-based applications.
- Lead performance testing, stress testing, and other advanced testing efforts to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Acquire required certifications to expand knowledge across cloud technologies being leveraged at BVAI.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on backend systems, APIs, and automated testing.
- Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Postman, with proven experience building and maintaining test frameworks.
- Experience testing with backend server API development, and database development
- Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript, with the ability to create and debug test scripts.
- Deep understanding of QA processes, system testing, and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and familiarity with AI development tools.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring QA engineers and leading quality initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
