What You Will Do: - Lead a variety of technology projects while guiding a skilled team of developers in creating distributed microservices and full-stack systems to fulfill the company's regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of technology trends, engage in hands-on experimentation with new tools, and contribute to both internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers.
- Work collaboratively with product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans.
- Leverage programming languages and technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with various AWS services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years in software engineering (Internship experience does not count).
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 3+ years working with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience using open-source frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience managing a team.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

Salary Range: For full-time positions, the annual salary range is as follows:
- McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700.
- New York, NY: $211,000 - $240,800.
- Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700.
In addition, this role is eligible for performance-based bonuses that may include cash incentives and/or long-term incentives.
