Senior Python Developer (With Asset Management)-HYBRID

Location - San Francisco, CA / Boston, MA (either location is OK - CA is preferred)

Hybrid - Onsite 3 days/week

Visa - Open - But really need someone senior / principal level

Looking for a Senior Software Engineer, with strong experience working within Financial services, specifically within Portfolio and Asset Management (this is a MUST).

Overview:

Looking for a seasoned Senior/Principal Full stack Python developer with experience using AWS services. It is a Hybrid role, coming to our office, 2-3 days a week. Preferable office location is our San Francisco office. May consider candidates working in Boston MA office.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior/Principal Full Stack Python Developer with a strong portfolio of building enterprise level applications.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, Python libraries and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Pandas, Numpy).
  • Experience with Xiaomi (required)
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data storage solutions.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience in using AWS services like SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, lambda
  • Experience in deploying code on AWS platform
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
