Are you a seasoned property accountant with a knack for numbers and a passion for real estate? We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Property Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of properties in the Accounting + Finance industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, from CAM reconciliations to financial reporting. This position requires a deep understanding of Yardi software, Shopping Center operations, and CAM Reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Property Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounting operations of assigned properties, including CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and financial reporting.
2. Utilizing Yardi software to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately.
3. Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring comprehensive compliance with organizational and industry standards.
4. Coordinating and completing annual audits and reviews.
5. Liaising with property managers and other stakeholders to address financial inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
6. Developing and implementing effective systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
7. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
8. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies, relevant regulations, and industry guidelines.
9. Participating in the budgeting process and performing variance analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proven experience with Yardi software, Shopping Center operations, and CAM Reconciliations.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is a plus.
4. Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements, the ability to analyze trends, and a keen eye for details.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. High proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
