Opportunity Overview We are currently seeking a professional for a W2 contract opportunity in Dearborn, MI. This role has the potential to extend over multiple years, with the chance to transition to a direct hire position with our client. Position Description - Leads the execution of strategy that ensures we deliver our program objectives in a consistent manner with full transparency.
- Establishes governance model/operating model to enhance efficiencies, transparency & predictability within the ecosystem of delivery.
- Champions communication between leadership and product teams.
- Facilitates program planning by gathering and presenting the program's scope, strategic themes, and OKRs to create a comprehensive quarterly plan through collaborative team effort.
- Accountable for strategic alignment of scope to the overarching Objectives and Key Results.
- Continuous coordination of interdependencies & analysis of issues/risks with high impact.
- Gather and facilitate the program steering committee to focus on high-level decision-making and ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Proactively defines and communicates common program procedures to foster team alignment, ensure adoption, and ultimately achieve unified reporting.
- Develops and implements a robust process for identifying, tracking, analyzing, communicating, and resolving program risks and issues, including regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination across all projects within the program.
- Manages stakeholder communication, providing regular updates to senior management and other key stakeholders regarding program operating status/health.
- Provides a system of operation and runs program level agile ceremonies.
- Develops program schedules and provides teams with a method for resource allocation for assigned programs.
- Surface and review change control for the products and projects within the program to ensure transparency & communication of deviations from scope baseline.
- Monitors program progress and to ensure timely and effective communication regarding forecast, schedule, and risk assessment.
- Documents and maintains organizational objectives in Jira for organizational alignment.
Skills Required - Excellent communicator to stakeholders at different levels, across diverse regional skill-teams.
- Ability to articulate complex information succinctly and accurately. Strong presentation skills.
- Able to traverse and translate both technical and business language.
- Experience in leading / managing and inspiring diverse teams. Proven track record in problem solving, making delivery commitments, managing customer expectations, and delivering on commitments.
- Willing to be hands on with project management tool updates.
- Proven collaborator with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency.
- A highly collaborative individual who thrives in team settings.
Experience Required - 5 years of Program Management experience.
- 5 years of Software Delivery experience using Agile and/or Lean practices including defining and prioritizing product features and working with backlog management tools.
- 2 years of experience managing user requirements and user stories, calculating stories, tracking the delivery process, and managing software projects using Rally or Jira, or similar Agile Tools.
- 2 years of experience in supporting Cloud-based Software Products on the Google Cloud Platform (GCS, Big Query, Data Flow), AWS, or Azure.
Education Required Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience.
