Senior Project Manager of Residential Construction
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead residential construction projects from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing high-end residential projects in Boston and surrounding areas, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Base Pay Range
$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Budget & Cost Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Schedule Management: Create and manage construction timelines, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Permitting & Compliance: Secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with Boston building codes.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and internal teams, providing regular progress updates.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior project managers, site superintendents, and field staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of construction project management experience (20 years preferred), primarily in residential construction.
- Strong background in high-end residential projects in Boston and surrounding areas.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Experience with scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Boston zoning laws, historic district regulations, and permitting processes.
- Deep understanding of local construction practices, permitting, and city regulations.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong team leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
- Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
- OSHA 30, LEED Accreditation, PMP Certification.
