Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to effectively deliver results on high priority and large complex projects. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for defining scope, planning tasks, resource planning and assignment to tasks, communication of project performance, including budget and schedule, managing project changes, decisions, risks, issues, project acceptance/completion, and monitoring and tracking progress for projects of high complexity. This position will be responsible for managing several projects, including managing multiple project teams. The Senior Project Manager works in a continually changing environment and they are required to stay current on industry best practices for project management. Excellent written and verbal skills are needed to maintain open communications between project teams, business and IT areas and project sponsors. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills, along with extensive FBL institutional, business and project management knowledge.

What does it take to join our Farm Bureau team?
- College degree or equivalent plus seven or more years relevant experience required
- Strong documentation, analytical and program solving skills
- Proven Portfolio and Project Management skills in a highly technical field.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication, planning and organization skills
- Must be results oriented and able to adapt and deal with ambiguous situations and manage expectations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
