Our people make this possible through a daily, unwavering commitment to excellence.Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, communication, and financial oversight of projects and/or accounts. This role has an in-depth understanding of design principles, industry trends, construction techniques, material usage, and manufacturing processes.The Senior Project Manager develops and manages work plans, budgets, and detailed schedules in collaboration with internal teams. This role is vital in ensuring client satisfaction, facilitating effective communication across internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate data in relevant systems, and achieving financial goals.Beyond fulfilling advanced project management responsibilities, this senior-level role serves as a leader and mentor within the Project Management team. Although this role does not have direct reports at this time, the Senior Project Manager provides project-based leadership and plays an active role in business development to help achieve company sales objectives.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:Managing a number of large volumeaccounts simultaneouslyduring all development phases until project completion. Project volume for the Senior PM will be $6+ million annuallyCoordinate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectivesPartner with various internal teams as needed (ie Designers, Engineers, Project Engineers, Account Managers, Production Manager, etc.) for successful project completion through all phases including design, engineering, fabrication, and installationMonitor and track project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status effectively with all internal departments, and all levels of the companyReport and escalate any issues to the Director of Project Management as neededEffectively focus on process details by receiving, interpreting, and executing information from both internal and external clientsUnderstands client needs and becomes their advocateSupport and contribute to the development of client proposals in collaboration with the Sales + Marketing teamsMaintain and update project and client files and data in respective online Project Management systems including Evernote, Google Drive, Salesforce, Bluebean, Zoom, Dropbox, Concur, and Project Management driveWeekly Salesforce review and confirmation of data for relevant accounts and projects including revenue allocation, projected schedules, change orders, PE assignments, etc.Coordinate and relay internal communication from client meetings to all designated individualsWork monthly with the internal Accounting department for client invoicing and collectionsDevelop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, changes and updates to appropriate teamsFollow protocol for internal processes and be an advocate to improve processes where neededOwnership and monthly tracking of project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goalsMeet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysisDevelop comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
