Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Transformation Office to lead portfolio reporting and project coordination activities for two large, high profile change portfolios . The PM will also serve as the primary liaison between the portfolio teams and the Transformation Office implementation team for Planview, a new Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) being rolled this year.
Ideal candidates will have strong project management, stakeholder management and communications skills as well as experience managing portfolio reporting and PPM tool implementations.
Job Responsibilities:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.
Coordinate portfolio status reporting for strategic portfolio; work with Project Managers and stakeholders to gather data; review data for quality and completeness
Coordinate resource forecast reporting for portfolio
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Plan and coordinate rollout of Planview PPM software; liaise with enterprise Planview PPM team
Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and PPM team to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 8-10 years' experience required.
