Introduction

Are you an experienced project manager and good problem solvergrant-funded Housing Retrofita comprehensive knowledge of the built environment
What's the role?

You will support the design, delivery, and project management of our Housing Retrofit programme and support the Council's aims and objectives. Working with colleagues from a wide range of services to deliver externally-funded programmes on budget and within agreed timescales, meeting current regulation and funding requirements.

What we're looking for

You will have an eye for accuracy and can ensure quality and consistency of reporting to external funders. You will be knowledgeable on building regulation and best practice standards. Liaising with external contractors, internal contract managers and stakeholders, you will support delivery of retrofit programmes which keep our residents at the heart of each project. You will be an organised and keen communicator, as well as having great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people.

This is a 12 month role, with possibility of extension.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • Recognised project management qualification or significant relevant experience.

Salary

£58,752 - £60,795 per annum (PO7)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
