Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a knack for reliability and a passion for the energy industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing the latest technologies and strategies to ensure the mechanical reliability of our energy systems. You will be working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where every day brings new opportunities to innovate and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Leading the development and implementation of mechanical reliability strategies, ensuring our systems are operating at peak efficiency and reliability.
2. Conducting root cause analysis of mechanical failures and developing effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and operations teams, to ensure the mechanical reliability of our systems.
4. Providing technical expertise in the selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
5. Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures to optimize the life cycle of mechanical assets.
6. Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of our operations.
7. Staying abreast of the latest developments in mechanical engineering and reliability strategies, applying this knowledge to improve our operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer position, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on reliability in the energy industry.
3. Proven experience as a Design Engineer in refining or a related sector.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including their design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
6. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams at all levels of an organization.
8. A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
9. A passion for continuous learning and improvement, with a proven ability to stay abreast of the latest developments in mechanical engineering and reliability strategies.
