This individual is responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, cost management, resource allocation, project accounting, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements. They will also lead and develop project staff to achieve performance goals while ensuring that each project meets or exceeds client candidates will have a proven track record in healthcare construction and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulations associated with inpatient acute care hospital projects.ResponsibilitiesSupervision of Quality Managers, Office Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Assistant Administrative AssistantsEnsure that projects are staffed correctlyPlan and hold estimating hand off meetingPlan and hold project kick off meetingAssure that project planning meetings are heldAssure that pre-planning processes are followedAssist the project team with the project risk management strategyAnalyze and write subcontractsCreate subcontractor bid tabsInitiate pre-qualifications of potential subsReview with Superintendent all purchases for material, rental equipment, and forming systemsPrepare and submit proposed changes to the OwnerChair weekly project meetingsPrepare monthly billing to the OwnerMaintain proposed changesMonitor progress and maintain project scheduleExpedite material deliveriesReview monthly job cost reports and prepare forecastsMonitor the safety programResponsible for project closeout out including preparation of all warranties, as-built drawings, and maintenance manualsSkills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with specific and proven experience in healthcare construction.Strong knowledge of regulations, codes, and best practices for inpatient acute care hospital projects.
