Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Estimator - Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection

Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager/Estimator will oversee and manage structural steel fabrication and erection projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards. This role combines project management expertise with accurate cost estimation, requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge of steel fabrication, and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for steel fabrication and erection projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Manage procurement of structural steel materials and oversee fabrication processes.
  • Supervise on-site erection activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and maintain clear documentation of project milestones.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of experience in project management and cost estimation within structural steel fabrication and erection.
  • Proficiency Tekla is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, erection techniques, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
