Piper Maddox have recently partnered with a Renewable Energy organization based in northern New York in an effort to build out their Project Engineering group.
Currently, we are searching for 4 Project engineers to join them on a permanent basis.
This organization operate across the Renewable Energy space, working with the local communities & larger institutions across the US to identify and achieve their Renewable Energy & Sustainability goals.
In this position, you will be responsible for 5 main areas:
- Lead engineering design, calculations, equipment selection/specification, and oversee field investigations and construction administration.
- Manage project development from concept through construction documents, including reports, proposals, contracts, and QA/QC processes.
- Assume responsibility for team leadership, project financials, schedules, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Engage with clients to present energy efficiency options, perform cost-benefit analyses, and support decision-making.
- Contribute to client relations, business development, and ensure project compliance, documentation, and construction support.
The ideal person for this position will have a background similar to the below:
- 10+ years of experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction projects is expected.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues in real time.
