Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client, a reputable construction company based in Boca Raton, is actively seeking a dedicated Sr. Project Cost Accountant. Responsibilities

  • Plan projects in collaboration with the operations manager and project managers.
  • Resolve discrepancies and handle ad-hoc financial queries.
  • Conduct financial closing activities and comprehensive cost analysis.
  • Manage job costing and track project expenses diligently.
  • Negotiate costs effectively and oversee client administrative functions.
  • Monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are on track.
  • Handle month-end financial processes and finalize contracts with clients.

Qualifications

  • Project accounting experience is required.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise information exchange.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in the construction industry or a related field is preferred.
