Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client, a reputable construction company based in Boca Raton, is actively seeking a dedicated Sr. Project Cost Accountant. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for growth within the company, as the ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial success and efficiency of ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan projects in collaboration with the operations manager and project managers.
- Resolve discrepancies and handle ad-hoc financial queries.
- Conduct financial closing activities and comprehensive cost analysis.
- Manage job costing and track project expenses diligently.
- Negotiate costs effectively and oversee client administrative functions.
- Monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are on track.
- Handle month-end financial processes and finalize contracts with clients.
Qualifications
- Project accounting experience is required.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise information exchange.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in the construction industry or a related field is preferred.
