R- Description Leidos is seeking a Sr. Program Scheduler to support a National Security Sector contract in Chantilly and Springfield, Virginia. The Program Scheduler who will be responsible for all aspects of creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). They will construct and maintain the schedule, run reports, and generate reports and views. This role reports through the Sector Scheduling Manager the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Scheduling Center of Excellence (COE) for functional guidance while supporting the program on a day-to-day basis. Primary Responsibilities. Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule using best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG). Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule. Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies. In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule showing the tasks required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones. Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects. Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management. Identify and generate a portfolio report of major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project Identify critical path and task dependencies. Set and maintain the baseline schedule. Perform 'what if' scenarios within the schedule. Develop schedule version control processes. Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual dates. Basic Qualifications. Must possess an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project Must possess an understanding of advanced scheduling theory (e.g., PASEG) including experience with: Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based) schedule status processes schedule health assessment (e.g., 14-Point Analysis) resource loading/management Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management. schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, finish variance, etc.) Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management Must be an independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using tools like Microsoft Project, Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo Analysis tools.
