Job Overview

The Senior Program Officer, Marketing Operations will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Customer Data Platform (CDP) to support ASM's data-driven marketing and customer engagement strategies. This role involves overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and strategic use of the CDP, ensuring that customer data is effectively utilized to enhance business outcomes.

Essential Functions (defines the critical end results expected of the jobholder related to the accountabilities above)

1. Drive the strategic development and optimization of the organization's MarTech ecosystem with the CDP as the foundation for unified customer data management and engagement.

2. Design and execute data management processes to ensure data quality and effective segmentation across marketing platforms. Collaborate with Data Governance Working Group to establish and maintain a comprehensive governance framework for customer data management.

3. Partner with Organization Departments to understand business needs and translate them into a practical roadmap for MarTech tool evolution and enhancement.

4. Lead campaign operations by creating standardized templates, automations, and workflows to optimize CDP, email, and marketing automation capabilities, while developing processes to streamline campaign build, testing, and optimization across channels.

5. Lead data-driven marketing intelligence initiatives by developing and implementing reporting frameworks within MarTech platforms, with a focus on leveraging CDP analytics to drive strategic business outcomes. This includes analyzing customer behavior patterns to generate actionable insights, optimizing audience targeting strategies, campaign optimization recommendations, and delivering data-backed recommendations to senior leadership to enhance key business objectives.

6. Foster CDP adoption through comprehensive training programs and documentation, while serving as the primary technical expert for the marketing team

7. Manage relationships with CDP and other MarTech vendors and email agencies, including contract negotiations, budget management, and performance evaluations. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor support and escalations.

7. Enterprise Processes and Technologies: Understands and effectively uses standard office equipment such as personal computers / laptops, and office automation software. Uses new, specialized or the organization-specific equipment, technologies, software, databases and systems, as required, in accordance with the organization policies. Up to date on social media and uses it appropriately on behalf of ASM. Strong understanding of marketing technology integrations and data flows between systems.

This is primarily a remote or hybrid role involving extended use of digital tools and collaboration platforms. While the position is desk-based, it offers flexibility to work from various locations, including home offices and virtual environments. The role may require occasional physical movement to access physical documents or equipment, but most tasks are performed digitally through cloud-based storage and virtual filing systems. Daily responsibilities include using computers, phones, virtual meeting software, and collaborative tools, ensuring seamless communication and workflow within a modern, tech-driven workspace.

Salary Range - $92,624.61- $120,379.35
