Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Senior Membership and Wellness Director to join our team. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic leader who is passionate about strengthening the community through innovative wellness programs and member engagement initiatives. As the Senior Membership and Wellness Director, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to create meaningful connections and promote healthy lifestyles for all members. Membership Essential Functions: Develops and directs high quality member engagement strategies and programs which support assigned branch's mission, goals, and Maximizes revenue growth for own branch through the identification, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of membership growth and service Cultivates, manages, and monitors assigned operating budgets to meet or exceed In conjunction with direct manager, establishes long-range plans for the expansion of engagement strategies and related to membership in harmony with overall YMCA objectives. Develops, directs, and analyzes programs and retention strategies for maximum member satisfaction and retention. Identifies best practices and process improvements in attracting and retaining members. 10. Establishes an environment that ensures all member experience team members are aligned with goals, objectives, and association Utilize analytics to assess program performance and membership trends, driving informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Recommends adjustments to the budget to ensure balanced operation and submits reports on current operations. Collaborates with community resources to educate, profile, and build Performs other duties as Wellness Essential Functions: Develops, implements, and manages operating plans to promote program and/or membership growth for the YMCA. Execute strategies to ensure that members and/or program participants connect with one another and connect with the YMCA. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure program sustainability and growth. Hire train and supervise staff and volunteers in assigned areas. Facilitates communication and provides leadership. Models' relationship-building skills (including Listen First) in all interactions. Provides leadership and support to the annual fundraising campaign and volunteer committees/boards as assigned. Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the community. Coordinates special events and activities. Provides data and reports as required for assigned programs. Oversees wellness floor operations and member experience. Leads and develops wellness staff. Serves on or leads association-wide committees, including leading the Give to the Y fundraising campaign. Interact with members and volunteers to develop strong relationships. Consults with members about exercise goals and designs exercise prescriptions that promote well-being, reduce risk and/or reclaim health. Manages systems to ensure that fitness orientations are conducted in a professional manner. Cleans equipment, maintains an organized Wellness Floor, and works on various projects that promote health/wellness. Creates and manages the department budget. Decision Making: Integrates multiple thinking processes to make decisions. Qualifications: 5 or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agency. Bachelor's degree in business, sports, recreation, a related field, or equivalent. Ability to direct assigned operations including revenue generation, volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, and program Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies. Experience managing staff and contributing to the development of department strategies. Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration Physical Demands: Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise programming activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations.
